Federal Government’s Digital Enterprise Program.
The Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, Senator Stephen Conroy has called for applications from local organisations to deliver round five of the Digital Enterprise program. The Digital Enterprise Program provides free group training and face-to-face support for small-to medium enterprises and not-for-profit organisations to help improve the way you do business and deliver services online.
Hunter DiGiT would like to encourage all digital economy providers in the region to take a look at this funding as it’s important we continue to drive the Hunter as a leading digital economy.
Newcastle and Maitland have been designated as eligible regions each able to receive between $255,000 and $285,000 for a period of up to 2 years.
With individual service providers being funded in Maitland and in Newcastle to deliver training and education programs, it is important that potential applicants seek to work collaboratively with partners ensuring both successful applications and delivery.
Hunter DiGiT is keen to speak to organisations interested in applying and see where we can be of assistance in supporting applications or bringing potential partners together for joint applications.
